"The highest power one can unlock lies within yourself, and like a slab of marble yet to be carved one must carve away until you find it."

Bio
Appearance: Standing at roughly 5'7" and 140 pounds with very clearly defined muscles this female tiefling has emerald green eyes with light blue skin and a pair of horns that curve back into her black waist-length hair; giving away her (possibly) demonic heritage.
Backstory: Born in the lands to the west this inner sea native holds no memories of her actual parents; instead the half-fiend was raised by another of mixed blood whom she only refers to as her "Pa". The half-elf knows what it's like to be of mixed blood and took pity on the poor orphan and decided to take her in and raise her as his own blood. For many years in a village she refuses to name she was fed and watered and grown as a resident of the village; though resident is a bit of a misnomer. The others of her small village were plagued by demons and their ilk in the past and wanted nothing to do with what may very well be their offspring and viewed her as an ill omen; something that would mark the coming of the end days. The young child knew nothing of this; her half-elf guardian made sure of that. For the middle-aged half-elf was somewhat of a local hero due to his help in driving off the outsider threat many years ago. Because of this fame the grizzled old half-elf was able to convince the other villagers to leave the poor girl alone and to leave him to raise her away from their apparent hatred of her. The villagers reluctantly agreed; though at the price of the veteran losing much of their respect and reverence toward him, but he cared not for their lack of respect as he tended to keep to himself for the majority of his days.
And so for many years the newly named Hel'nak was brought up alone by the half-elf; and he made sure that she ate well and learned her letters as best he could for one who isn't skilled in the teaching profession. By the time she was 12 she was taught how to wield a blade properly just in case the enemy should strike yet again, and by the age of 14 she was being taught how to forge her own blades; "Why pay for something that you can make for yourself, and make better to boot." he would say. Several years past and the young woman began to felt that wanderlust that fills so many others, and one that Pa knew only too well. He knew that it would be no good to keep her cooped up, and by the time she was of legal age she began preparing to leave. The old half-elf spoke to her about her leaving and told her this "I will arrange transport to take you to Hiyro, a city in the distant east on a continent they call Tian-Xia. My family line is from there; not a great noble family mind you, but family nonetheless. I don't know if you'll find any of them there or if they're even still alive; I haven't had contact with them since I left those lands many years ago when I was but a small lad. You can go and forge a life for yourself there; many people do. I will teach you their tongue, and once you learn it then you may leave for that foreign soil."
Several months later she had learned enough of Tian to be able to understand and to be understood; passage had been booked and it was time to leave. The voyage would be long and hard, but she was willing to make it. After a tearful goodbye with the man who raised her she set off on that months long voyage by carriage then by boat then by carriage again. Along the way she had learned through several fights going through giant territory how to unlock the passion inside of her to give her the edge needed to win a fight, and how to properly take down foes much larger than herself. She arrived in the city of Hiyro at last; a place filled with infinite possibility where she might be able to make a name for herself and carve her name in the stone of history.
And so our story unfolds...
