Marik, Demon of Hiyro, Enemy to Slavers 9 Barbarian(Invulnerable/urban)/2 Fighter(Unbreakable)/1 Alchemist(Vivisectionist) MythweaversCreated 11/13/16 BIO When born in a small village outside Kear Maga the only telling feature of his ancestry was his tail, however as he grew more things began to show. By the age of 10 he was still the size of a toddler and his skin began to change to a red tint. As soon as his horns began to sprout the village knew what he was and chased him out. From there he spent the next 20 years in the Sanos forest crafting his own armor and weapons to get by. Eventually a Shoanti hunting party came across him. Mistaking him for a demon they attacked, but through his own strength he prevailed, yelling to them to come try again as they ran. Instead the next time they brought an emissary to speak with him. impressed with his resolve and warriors spirit they offered him a place in their tribe. Seeing it was either the truth or simply a way to use his strength he accepted. For the next 40 years he would stay with them, learning their culture, their history, and their ferocity in battle. One night in a painful transformation his heritage pushed its way through to expose what he was. His horns grew as well as another pair appears, twisting and turning black. His skin turned from red to burgundy and dull scales grew on his body. Horrified by his new appearance the villages only spoke one word, "Kalavukus". Knowing that he now appeared to be a demon from their past he accepted their exile. From then on he vowed to find his demonic ancestor to kill him and end any further influence he could bring about. His troubles did not end there however. A few years later as he was traveling he came under a spell that enslaved his mind. For years he was unaware of what he was doing and his surroundings. His first waking moment afterwards was him standing before a broken door and an angry Tein man with a sword at his throat. After dealing with the man he found a robber in possession of a command rod linked to what was the spell that controlled him. It was upon beating information out of him that he found that he was in Tian Xia and inexplicably able to speak the Tein language. Seeing as he had no better place to go he decided to stick around and see if there was any information he could find on his ancestor in Tian Xia.

Zenmetsu (Aka Genocieder) A greatsword forged in honor of and to venerate Gorum. For hundreds of years it sat in it's altar, it's creators conducting mad rituals of combat before it in his name. Gorum seeing this was please and decided to bestow the blade with the will of unrelenting battle and bloodshed. However those who created it were limited brutes, so ultimately the blade waited for someone with a potential to wield it to bring forth truly epic battle. Effect: +1 Adamantine Impact Berserking Greatsword In the hands of a devout and favored of Gorum (GM's discretion) the character instead falls under a controlled berserk, and may choose their target rather than be forced to attack the closest conscious creature. Furthermore, upon drawing the blade, the wielder may choose attempt to assert their will over that of the sword's bloodlust by performing a DC 10 + 1/2 character level Will save. The wielder may enhance the sword as normal, however, the enhancements do not manifest for anyone but the favored. Failure: The wielder suffers the normal Berserking function without control and attacks the nearest creature as per the normal berserking curse. Success: The wielder retains their controlled berserk, and is being observed by the sword. They will gain points based on following conditions: -If the wielder emerges victorious out of the battle, they gain an Assertion point. -If the wielder emerges as the sole survivor of the battle, they instead gain a Domination point. 7 Assertion points: The wielder has overcome the will of Zenmetsu, which yields, removing the berserking curse for good. 7 Domination points: The wielder has proven to Zenmetsu to be an avatar of carnage, the sword trusts the wielder and no longer enforces the (controlled) berserk condition on that specific wielder when being drawn in battle, instead allowing it's wielder to choose whether they wish to enter berserk or controlled berserk, the wielder also may freely begin berserking as a free action, or end it as a free action at the end of their turn. Turning berserking on or off can flow seamlessly in and out of a Rage class feature without counting as having ended Rage. For a more accurate idea of what Marik looks like. Marik is 6'5" and has a strong resemblance to a Kalavakus Demon. The difference is the spikes on his forearms are small, he lacks the clawed hands, and instead of purple his skin has more of a redish purple tint and has dull grey scales on his forearms. If you could see him without clothes he also has the scales on his back and upper thighs. He has clawed feet, red irises, and instead of a normal nose he has two slits. A Kalavakus Demon
