Bio:
By day, Bai Kwan is an artist, a painter of exquisite tragedies. He is known well as a polite, if eccentric gentleman, given to strange flights of fancy usually chalked up to the nature of his art. Hailing from Peija in Bachuan has given his ideals a slight anti-government bent, having spent much of his life under the communist rule of the nations dictator. Now, he's come to what remains of Hiryo seeking inspiration for his latest piece, to paint the loss and sorrow of recent events in exquisite detail. But, he has another desire in this place wracked with grief; blood. Enough to paint all the pieces he could dream of, and inspire just as many. Art reflects life after all.

So Kwan here is heavily inspired by the story of Pickmans Model, by H.P. Lovecraft, a well known artist who goes the sinister extremes for their craft, finding, or creating in this case, horrifying scenes to put to canvas to shock and disgust the viewers, in a way reflecting their own inner darkness and that of society as a whole through their work. I've been hankering for a character like this for a while now, so being able to pull it out is super exciting for me.
