BIO
Gerran is a charismatic male catfolk. He is jollyfull and pleasent, though someone observant might figure there are underlying motives under this joyful surface.
OOC backstory
Gerran lost his parents due to a raider attack when he was 6 years old. After that he was raised by a group of priests and refugees who had met a similar fate in a country side monastery. Among them were elves, halflings and some catfolk. Also a few humans and gnomes. It was a polymorphic temple, though most deities that were worshipped were all about prosperity, growth, fertility or nature. Gerran however found an elder Elf, named Vadriel as his mentor, who was disciple of Kofusachi. He taught Gerran the art of speechcraft, and how truth and lies are really dependant of time, place, and the observing mind. As feelings and perception can change once truths into lies and vice versa.
The temple was however attacked by an undead army some time ago. In the midst of chaos Gerran managed to escape and after some travelling alone met a group of merchants from whom he heard of Tiancheng and they are in an effort to rebuild. It isn't much, but Gerran is filled with a glimpse of hope once more. He set out to go to Tiancheng. How he can be useful, he not yet knows, what he is going to do there, he not yet knows, for it is the art of improvisation that he does know.
But the most important lesson, that Vadriel taught was to enjoy the journey between through ones life, no matter how short or long.
