Amphistrice: www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=1590027
"..." *point* -Charlotte.
"M'lady is happy to have met you." -Amphistrice.
[Charlotte]
Level 7
[Sorcerer]
Created Date [5/20/2018]
Current Date [7/1/2018]
[Bio: Edited backstory to be more consistent with Golarion lore, due to the nature of Shabti and where they originate from]
"Once upon a time was a power hungry nobleman and warlock of Cheliax pacting with devils.
This is normal in Cheliax, they have history revisionism that aims to extol Asmodeus and devils as the good guys.
His price is his firstborn. But once he has found love and his child is born and growing, he is... while not a changed man, very much regretting this whole thing. But since the court of Cheliax is a bunch of lawful evil backstabbing, he does the Chelian thing and sees to it that he gets a Souvereign Shabti in his hands, financing expeditions to Osirion with much of his savings.
His backdoor dealings yield him one, and your Charlotte is created when the real one dies of weakness because she had some extreme version of www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/drawbacks/tainted-spirit/ (because of course the devils would cheat, nothing about the deal said they can't have her a few decades early and the father got his power, right?).
On her way to hell, Shabti Charlotte meets a Psychopomp who looks at her for a moment, then severs her binding.(edited)
d20PFSRD
Tainted Spirit
She gets ejected from the material plane into Dtang Ma, where she comes into the hands of a Tien Dtang noble sorcereress.
Intrigued by her nature, studies (and experiments, potentially) are conducted on how something like that can be created.
Upon figuring that she has technically served her purpose and nothing really of use comes of her, she is ditched.
The Dtang sorcereress's experiments involved altering memories, which explains why she forgot how to speak Taldane or Chelian (she now remembers these languages). She was romantically interested in the sorceress in question, who took advantage of these feelings and provided physical affection, and emotionally abused and led Charlotte on.
