Letters to Sister
Week 1
    My first encounter in Hiyro was with a nice gentleman to pointed me to an Tavern that caters to Adventurers.  Being more tired then I realized I fell asleep on a table.  I was awoken by a giant of a woman who shortly thereafter shrunk down to normal size, but I'm afraid I was less then friendly on our first meeting as I thought she was trying to rob me. Come to find out she is afraid of almost everyone not just me but I still apologized for frightening her. I hope to not have the same happen to everyone I meet.

Week 2
    I have come to realize not everyone has the same view of the world as me. I overheard two men talking in the tavern about how they have done this and done that. One talked about war like it was nothing. The other was all about redemption. I know it should not have gotten to me so but my blood was just boiling over in anger upon hearing the talk about war and how even murderers and rapist should have a chance to be redeemed that I'm afraid I made a spectical of myself.  After apologizing for my outburst I left the tavern to cool off, and the man who talks so carelessly about war followed me. I turned ready to fight and he kinda just chuckled at me a sat down. He started praying to a foreign god and I just backed away until he was no longer in sight and ran to a lake.  Jun found me and asked if I was OK but apparently the turmoil of the run made her collapse on me. I picked her up and rushed her back to town to her protector. She apparently doesn't remember following me or collapsing on me so I will have to watch out and see if she is OK.

Week 18
    Sorry I haven't written in a while but I have been a little busy. I have been getting along good with a lot of people here. been on a few small adventures with some strange people but they seem to be OK after the first look.  Things were blending together until I was out by the lake practicing under the glory of Shiruzu, when this Half breed comes up and starts talking to me.  That is fine and all I don't care that she is half the race that my father and brothers were fighting until she insult the honor of my family. She seemed to know more about our family then most do around here but then she called them "only fair warriors" and asked if I was trying to "break the mold". Now as you know our family has had bad luck but in battle they always seem to survive. Father was decorated veteran in 2 wars before he settled down with my mother. The only reason he went to this last war was as an advisor to the general. I wanted to fight her right then and there to protect our families honor but since she was a bit unstable I offered her the chance to recant and make amends, she apologizes but it is obvious that she doesn't mean it.  If she every crosses me or dishonors our family name I will bring her to account. 
    I saw this same woman being escorted through town to the temple later that evening. It seems, if the rumors are true, that she became possessed and tried killing a follower of Tsukiyo. She was apparent taken into the temple to be exorcised.  Maybe this demon inside her is what tried to get her to fight me by dishonoring the family. I will pray to Shiruzu for guidance on the matter. I hope all is well with you.

Week 41
    My friend I've told you about, Jun, is worrying me. We hadn't seen her for a few days so went to check her room and it was covered in strange paint. A few others and I tracked her to the woods where she was wielding lightning like a weapon and a local thug beat her down almost killing her.  It was very strange, I got knocked out during the commotion and when I came too, Jun was breathing again but still has not awoken. All this magic people can wield is starting to scare me.  We have a group of fighters getting things together to save Jun. I plan to go with them as i need to increase my strengths, plus I feel this is something father would want me to do.
    How can father and our brothers survive if they are going up against the power some magic users can use? I fear my mission to find them alive might fail. I don't know if I'm strong enough. The rumors of the war have reached everywhere but I still haven't heard word about our family. Many people here recognized my name, Maybe I should have hidden it but its too late to think about the past. we must look to the future and to what Shiruzu will bring.
    Hope all is well with you. You last letter said you were expecting. I'm happy to be an Aunt one day. Not sure if a motherhood is in my future though. I fear these letters may become fewer and far between unless I hear anything new. May you always walk in Shiruzu's light.

Week 43    
    Its hard to believe I've been gone from home so long. You may have forgotten but I turned 15 this week, heck with everything going on I forgot. No one here knows nor did I share, But since then I've had some dreams. You remember Father talking about those in the family having a certain malady. It's been generations since we knew of one. In my dream I feel like I'm awakening from a deep sleep, My hand inch like they are dry but they look fine.  And strangest thing happened. I touched a sword belonging to my friend Jun and it changed. It became one of the most regal katanas I've laid eyes on. It looked like scales covered the handle and the edge glowed with a green glow like that of grass in the first ray of sun in the morning. The blade seemed alive, we are keeping the sword for safe keeping as we do not wish it to be left about and stolen.

Week 53
    The dreams are becoming more vivid. What should I do? I wish mother or Father were here, they would know what to do. I can taste raw flesh on my lips. I feel the wind flying past me like I'm soaring in the clouds. The dreams almost feel more real then the waking world.  I should be more worried about this but I cant help but feel overwhelmed with whats going on with my friend Jun. People are saying her soul is missing but shes still alive. I battled the so called bloodhag that we thought was plaguing Jun, but there is no change in Jun's condition.
    As always I pray that you walk in Shiruzu's light and to be safe.

Week 57 (sent ahead once Rai is teleported to Minkai)
    I am so glad you have had the baby, I only wish mother and father were around to she their grandchild. I know you will honor mother by doing all she taught you. I Wish you and the baby every happiness. It might be strange to be sending you a letter just a few days before I plan to arrive, But much as changed. I'm not the same person you grew up with. I must visit the Clan Leader before I head to you. Father would have wished to take me before him himself but I feel out of place without properly swearing loyalty like Father, Soroku and Hanzo did. If I am truly to be able to help them I feel I need the support of the clan. Even if it is just by symbol or status among them.
If I do not get the clans blessing then My visit may be a short one and I will have to find Father and our brothers as a Ronin.
    Expect me within 3 days of you receiving it. I think I will be done with the clan by then.
